If you are considering submitting your DNA to AncestryDNA, this program will help you know what to expect and learn what information you will find once your test is processed. For those new to genealogy, you might be interested in the following opportunity:
Wednesday, September 23, 6pm-7pm, Black River Beach Center.  Terry Micks, president of the La Crosse Area Genealogical Society will speak on "How to get started working on your family history." Have you always wanted to research your family history but didn't know how to get started? This session will help you understand what genealogy is all about and some easy steps to start your research.


If you can help us clean, transcribe, and/or photograph stones at Oak Grove Cemetery on your own, please contact Anita She has cleaning kits and cemetery lists you may check out.
