Chas. claimed four forties along the present Town Forest Road in sec. 6 and 7 on which log buildings were built. Tom (son of Charles) married Margaret Roberts of Waukesha. He bought land in sec. 5, which would be across the road from his father. It was on his land that the Stimson school stood and teachers boarded. His father’s favorite place at Tom’s was under some trees on the river. It was there that he was buried.
