"Pioneer Walk One"
Moving around the main display hall, viewers get a glimpse of more of pioneer days, such as clothes, fancy hats, rugs and sewing machines. There’s a cabinet filled with colorful dishes and a pump organ as well. This quilt hanging was created by local volunteers and tells the stories of Langlade County towns.
"Pioneer Walk Two"
The travel around the room continues with shelves of quilts and rugs,homemade over 100 years old. The spinning wheel is among the oldest artifacts, dating to the 1700's. The collection of ceramic buildings add another dimension of long ago.
"The Doll Case"
Dolls were more than toy things in the pioneer days, as this display illustrates. It includes German Bisque dolls made in the 1800’s and early 1900’s. There are also doll clothes, many of them hand made and quite intricate.
