I AM SAD TO REPORT THAT MARY BETH FAY DIED IN JANUARY, 2003. SHE WAS VERY ACTIVE IN GENEALOGY CIRCLES, ESPECIALLY IN ARIZONA AND AFTER SHE MOVED TO COLORADO SPRINGS, THERE ALSO. I AM PROUD TO SAY THAT SHE WAS A PERSONAL FRIEND TOO. SHE WAS ONLY 32 YEARS OLD, AND LEFT BEHIND A HUSBAND.
I NOW HAVE A COPY OF THE CD OF THE 1910 CENSUS FOR THE ENTIRE MARATHON COUNTY. I HAVE NOT PUT IT ONLINE YET, SO IF YOU WANT TO E-MAIL ME YOUR NAMES (PLEASE DON'T ASK FOR MORE THAN 2 AT A TIME) I WILL LOOK THEM UP. \ Mary Beth gave me links to her pages for the census, but her husband has taken them down. I only have a few townships on line - for any other, you can e-mail me and I will let you know if your ancestor is there.
I have recently gotten some census indexes for 1910 from another volunteer. She is Julie Rossi, and I do thank her. I willindicate which ones she has sent.
Another volunteer is Joan Benner, who has done the 1910 Town of Wausau Census.
Romy Myszka is doing townships for the 1910 census for this page. Thank you Romy!
Please remember that the names on these censuses are extremely difficult to read in some cases. If you KNOW the name is incorrect, please e-mail me, Shelley Green
I have gotten a correction on his family name, which is Matson, in the township of Franzen. Evala Matson, should be Eveta - full name was Mary Eveta (Ware) Matson. Mimie should be Minnie Matson - Minnie and Eveta were sisters who married brothers Henry and Charles Matson. Clare Matson should be Clair Matson. This was sent to me by Joel D. Moore, firstname.lastname@example.org. ==============================================================================================================
