=========================================================================

This is a list of names taken from files at the Marathon County Historical Library.  These have some addtional information on the cards that I did not copy here.  They were in most cases incomplete,that is, they mostly do not have a unit or regiment listed, but all had a name and location on them. Most of the soldiers were from Marathon County, and enlisted here, or in some cases enlisted in other locations, or were from other places and enlisted in Marathon County.  For more information, e-mail me (Shelley Green) and I can check the cards, or write or call the Marathon County Historical Library.

There is also a great web page which has names of all WWI draftees.  It is http://userdb.rootsweb.com/ww1/draft
