Lyle Edgar Gunnett was from the Kalamazoo, Comstock Township, MI. area.
His parents were Roy T and Anna Gunnett. He was born 1921 and entered the Civilian
Conservation Corps (CCC) program at the Sparta CCC District near Gays Mills, WI in 1937.
He worked on CCC projects in Wisconsin and at Isle Royale where the first roads were
constructed. He entered into military service 16 Nov 1942.
He married Elsie P Simkins and had one son Lyle Larry Gunnett.
After retiring, Lyle Edgar Gunnet moved to Arcadia, Florida.
