Services Held For Albert UECKER Dec.31

Gillett - Funeral services for Albert UECKER, 76, were held at
2 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, in Immanuel Lutheran Church,
Town of Gillett.
The Rev. J. R. WESTPHAL officiated and burial was in the church
cemetery. Kuehl Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers
were Arnold, Marvin, and Ewald SCHNEIDER, Kenneth and Donald GIESE, and
Wayne HOLLAND. Mr. UECKER died Friday in Milwaukee Emergency Hospital.
He became ill after he had gone to Milwaukee with his wife to attend
funeral services for a relative.
Born in the Town of Washington, September 24, 1881, Mr. UECKER was
married to Emma GIESE June 17, 1908. He worked for the North Western
Railroad for 10 years, and then farmed in the Town of Gillett until he
retired seven years ago. He continued to live in the Township.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Mrs. Fred (Elda)
SCHNEIDER, Maple Valley, and Mrs. Howard (Severa) GIESE and Mrs. Edward
(Laverna) HOLLAND, Milwaukee; a son Irvin, Milwaukee; three brothers
Herman, Otto and Emil, all of Gillett, and a sister, Mrs. Charles
MEYER, Oconto. A daughter, Hertha, died 24 years ago. .
