He was born November 26, 1916 in Oconto to the late Martin and Hattie VanAbel. Allen served his country in the United States Army-Air Force during World War 11. On August 30, 1951 he married Agnes Kahr. Allen had been employed at Green Bay City Bus Garage for 27 years.
Survivors include his wife, Agnes, Green Bay; one son, James Wagner Milwaukee; one sister, Ruth like, Florida; niece and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. No funeral services were held. Blaney Funeral Home, Green Bay assisted the family.
