HEART ATTACK IS CAUSE OF SUDDEN
DEATH OF RESIDENT
A heart attack was the cause of the sudden death
of Mrs. Barbara Tisher, 78, which occurred at 7 o'clock Monday morning
at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Jarvis, 123 Lemkey street. (*see
Funeral arrangements have been set for 2 o'clock
Wednesday afternoon at the MacQueen Chapel with the Rev. Starr H.
Lloyd, pastor of the Presbyterian church, officiating. Burial will be
in the Oconto Evergreen cemetery.
Barbara Teteak was born on December 4, 1859 in
Gibson, Manitowoc county. She has been a resident of Oconto for 49
years. Her husband, Adam Tisher, preceded her in death four years ago.
He was formerly an alderman in the city and for many years was in
charge of the Odd Fellow's hall.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Mary Jarvis,
Oconto; two sons, Charles, Oconto, and Fred of North Freedom; six
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Emma Lyons,
Oconto, and one brother, Antone Teteak of Manitowoc.

death as cerebral hemorrhage. Barbara's parents: Albert Teteak
(1825-1896) and Elizabeth Kokstan (1830-1900)
