Lucille C. Delaney, 91, longtime resident of Green Bay, died
18, 2012. She was born Dec. 12, 1920, in Spruce, Wis., to the late John
Julia (Lusnia) Podebradsky. On Sept. 5, 1942, she married Thomas
Spruce. Lucille was a very well-known and well liked seamstress for
years. She loved to cook and no one ever left their house hungry.
was an active member of St. Joseph Parish and was a longtime member of
Altar Rosary Society.
Survivors include four children and their spouses, Pat and Yvonne
Holmen, Wis., Ruth and Mike Zich, Suamico; Mike and Dorie Delaney,
Bay; Tom Jr. and Sallie Delaney, Bellevue; 13 grandchildren and their
spouses, Mike and Theresa Delaney, Shawn and Brenda Delaney, Kelli and
Dorau, David and Mandy Delaney, Mark and Annie Delaney, Bob and Colleen
Rentmeester, Julie and David Brunette, Michele and David Liesner, Chris
Chuck Neumeier, Kayla Delaney, Matthew Delaney, Dayna Delaney, Kristie
Delaney; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one
and sister-in-law, Everette and Shirley Podebradsky, Madison; many
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas in 1996; a
daughter-in-law, Gail Delaney in 2000; a brother and sister-in-law,
and Marge; an infant brother; and three nephews.
Friends may call at St. Joseph Catholic Church, corner of Ninth St. and
Ave., from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday. The Mass of Christian Burial will
celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. David
officiating. Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Blaney

The family would like to extend a huge thank you to the staff of Unity
Hospice, especially Heidi, Amy, Danielle, Niki and Cheryl and also to
