Lucille C. Delaney, 91, longtime resident of Green Bay, died Wednesday, Jan.
18, 2012. She was born Dec. 12, 1920, in Spruce, Wis., to the late John and
Julia (Lusnia) Podebradsky. On Sept. 5, 1942, she married Thomas Delaney in
Spruce. Lucille was a very well-known and well liked seamstress for many
years. She loved to cook and no one ever left their house hungry. Lucille
was an active member of St. Joseph Parish and was a longtime member of the
Altar Rosary Society.

Survivors include four children and their spouses, Pat and Yvonne Delaney,
Holmen, Wis., Ruth and Mike Zich, Suamico; Mike and Dorie Delaney, Green
Bay; Tom Jr. and Sallie Delaney, Bellevue; 13 grandchildren and their
spouses, Mike and Theresa Delaney, Shawn and Brenda Delaney, Kelli and Mike
Dorau, David and Mandy Delaney, Mark and Annie Delaney, Bob and Colleen
Rentmeester, Julie and David Brunette, Michele and David Liesner, Chris and
Chuck Neumeier, Kayla Delaney, Matthew Delaney, Dayna Delaney, Kristie
Delaney; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother
and sister-in-law, Everette and Shirley Podebradsky, Madison; many nieces
and nephews.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas in 1996; a
daughter-in-law, Gail Delaney in 2000; a brother and sister-in-law, Alfred
and Marge; an infant brother; and three nephews.

Friends may call at St. Joseph Catholic Church, corner of Ninth St. and 12th
Ave., from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. David Pleier
officiating. Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Blaney Funeral

A memorial fund has been established in her name.

The family would like to extend a huge thank you to the staff of Unity
Hospice, especially Heidi, Amy, Danielle, Niki and Cheryl and also to Dr.
Fuchs and Katie from Cardiology Associates and the entire staff of Bellin
Hospital 2nd Floor ICU for their wonderful care.
