Albert Falk, 88, Abrams, died at Sharpe Care LTD in Oconto Falls, March
19, 2012. Wilbur was born on Aug. 31, 1923, in Abrams, and was the only
son of the late Albert and Emma (Laabs) Falk. He lived all of his life
on the family farm in the town of Abrams. He married Geneva Ellner
March 6, 1965, she preceded him in death on July 30, 2009. He was proud
of the fact that he became a husband, father, and grandfather all on
the same day. The shack was his favorite place, cutting wood and making
maple syrup (the best). He enjoyed time spent with his coyote hunting
buddies. He was a lifetime member of the Pike River Coon Hunters. He
was always ready to sit, talk, and tell tall tales.
He is survived by four sisters, Sadie Garlow, Oconto Falls; Ruth
Weigelt, Oconto; Avis Karlman, Minocqua; Carol (Louis) Lindner,
Colorado; three nephews, Bill (Anita) Karlman, Larry (Jan) Karlman, Ed
(Sharon) Weigelt. He is also survived by the children of Geneva Falk,
daughter, Patricia Lade, her daughter Christine (Randy) Cormier and
their children, Verlyn and Alex; sons, Daniel (Heidi) Lade and their
child, Zach; Bob (Becky) Lade and their children, Gunar and Taner;
daughter, Karen (Wayne) Heimke, her son, Korey Heimke and his son,
Mason; her daughter, Kerry (Charles) Imig and their children, Khloe and
Keegan; her son, Kasey (Sarah) Heimke and their children, Kiara, Torrie
Wilbur was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva of 44 years; a son,
Burl Gunderson; two sisters, Lorraine Falk and Elda Karlman; three
brothers-in-law, Ed Weigelt, Milton Garlow, and Owen Karlman.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral
Home, Oconto, from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012. Funeral
Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with
the Rev. Frederik Schulz officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside

Our heartfelt appreciation and thanks to Sharpe Care LTD and Unity
Hospice staff. Especially, care givers John and Jenny were always rays
of sunshine in Willie's day - Thank you.
