.Word has been received by friends announcing the death of Mrs. Albert Bernstein, which occurred Tuesday, January 11, in Chicago. She will bee remembered by old time friends in this city, being a survivor of the Peshtigo fire. She leaves three daughters to mourn her loss, Mrs. Walter Ellis, Mrs. Sophia Fiyo and Mrs. Anna Kreinbring, who are also former residents of this city.

.(note: The deceased was Fredrica Kreinbring, wife of Peter Kreinbring at the time of the October 8, 1871 Peshtigo Fire. They were born in Prussia and owned a farm in town of Peshtigo having three Wisconsin born daughters, Minna (Minnie) born November 1865, Anna September 1868 and Sophia born in September 1870. All survived the fire in town of Peshtigo. A son John Kreinbring born 1877in Peshtigo, was listed to widow Fredrica Kreinbring in 1880 but was not found in later documents. He may not have lived to adulthood.

Anna remained single all her life and eventually lived in Chicago, working as a clerk. Minnie Kreinbring (found as Cramby) married Walter Ellis on June 9, 1884 and they lived in Peshtigo for years, having one son, Marvin Ellis, born in Wisconsin. Sophie Kreinbring married William Tiyo (also found as Tigo and Tyo and Fiyo) on May 20 1889 and they lived next door to her sister Minnie and Walter in Peshtigo for years. They had one son Fred Tiyo born in Wisconsin.

By 1880 Fredrica Kreinbring was widowed and her brother-in-law John Kreinbring and his family were living on the Peshtigo farm with her and the three daughters and one son. She later married Albert Bernstein. In 1920 Minnie and Sophie were widowed and living, each with a son, in Chicago with single sister Anna Kreinbring.)
