Gerald D. Gibeault, 65, Oconto, passed away Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at Bay
Area Medical Center, Marinette. Gerald was born Aug. 31, 1946, in Green Bay,
to the late Gerald Gibeault and Marcella Rysewyk-VanLorynen. Gerald served
in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member and past
president of the W.U.M.P.A. Gerald was an avid golfer. He will be missed by
his dog, "Shadow".

Gerald is survived by special friend, Eileen Dekanich, Cleveland; a daughter,
Michele (Ssg. Devin Storey) Gibeault, Virginia; a son, Michael (Janice)
Gibeault, Oconto; a sister, Dawn Gibeault, Green Bay; two brothers, James
Gibeault, Louisiana; Jeffrey (Blaine) Gibeault, Green Bay; a half-sister
Lisa (James) Philbrick, Lena; a stepsister, Sherri (Joe) Mahn, Milwaukee;
two stepbrothers, Robert (Sue) VanLorynen, Florida; Joe (Patty) VanLorynen,
Florida; and six grandchildren, Mason, Mercedes, Victoria, James, Jared and

Gerald was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Gibeault; and stepfather,
Norbert "Corby" VanLorynen.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home,
Oconto, from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church,
Oconto, with the Rev. Joel Sember officiating. Military Rites will be
performed at the church by the American Legion Post #74.
