Timm Giese, 80, from Green Bay, Wisconsin, joined the ranks of the
heavenly hosts on April 23, 2012. The former Lottie Louise Timm was
born to the late Albert and Louise (Lizzie Henschel) Timm in Breed,
Wisconsin on May 7, 1931. Lottie was married to Theodore (Ted) Giese on
December 4, 1954. Together Ted and Lottie raised 5 children; Theodore
Giese Jr., Green Bay; Dorie Delaney (Mike), Green Bay; Susan Ruggles
(Russ), Flagstaff, Arizona; Roselyn Wahren (Johan), Waterville, Ohio;
Timothy (Tim) Giese, Green Bay. She was called grandma by many and was
a grandma to 14 grandchildren and a great-grandma to 5
great-grandchildren. She loved her devoted shelties, Whimpy and Danny.
Lottie was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Giese.
She is survived by her sister Helen Burke, Crystal Falls, Michigan and
was preceded in death by her three brothers Theodore Timm, Emil Timm
and Godfrey (Fritz) Timm, all from Suring as well as two of her
sisters; Dorothy Holmes (Elmer) and Lucinda (Cinny) Stuewer (Arnold)
also of Suring.
Lottie grew up on a farm in Breed, where she found her true love for
animals and gardening. Married life brought cheese-making with husband
Ted and semi retired fun operating the Yesterday and Today Shop in
Underhill. Most recently Lottie resided in Green Bay near 3 of her 5
She will be remembered for her friendly hello and bright smile and as a
lady who shared her love for her Lord, Jesus Christ. She will be
remembered as a daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother,
sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and cousin who loved her family dearly.
Celebration of Lottie's life will be held on Sunday, April 29 at
Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 13346 County Road AA, Suring, WI 54174:
Visitation from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM; Service to begin at 2:30 PM
followed by graveside burial in Breed Union Cemetery. The family
invites you to join us for light refreshments in the church basement
following the graveside service.
