Kehoe Dies of Heart Ailment

Well Known As Football Player


PESHTIGO—George Kehoe, 50, died of a heart ailment early this morning at the home of a sister 170 Emery Ave.

            The deceased was born in Peshtigo September 7, 1906, attended Peshtigo High School and was well known to football fans in the 1920”s. He played fullback for the Peshtigo Athletic club, a semi-professional team, three years from 1930 to 1933. He never married.

            His military service was with the Army, spending 18 months in Iceland. At the time of his death he was a part time watchman for Thompson Brothers Boat Mfg. Co.

            Survivors are four sisters, Mrs. Charles Engler of Menominee, Mrs. Henry Pazynski of Marinette, Mrs. Harold Diercks and Miss Bernice Kehoe of Peshtigo; three brothers Arthur of Marinette, William of Peshtigo and Bernard in the Army.

            Friends may call at the Berth-Rosenthal funeral home Sunday at 10 a.m. until Monday morning at 8:30. Funeral services will be held in the St. Mary’s Mondat at 9 a.m. wit the Rev. Edward Bujazski officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside cemetery here. The parish rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:3
