Phyllis E. Hatfield,
90, of Mountain, Wisconsin, died January 12, 2013 following an 8 month
battle with Cancer. She was born January 9, 1923 in Mountain to the
late Phillip and Alice (McDonald) Wanner. She married David E. Hatfield
September 1, 1945 in Iowa. Phyllis was employed by O'brien's Potato
Farm and later was a cook at the Mountain School for 20 years until
retiring. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking bread, watching birds and
westerns.
Survivors include four daughters, Linda (Mike) O'brien, Argonne,
Wisconsin, Alene Meulbroek, Suamico, Laurette Hatfield, Waupaca, Robin
Wozniak, Mountain, (fiance Chris Lincks); two brothers, Phillip (Ceil)
Wanner, Clintonville, Donald (Judy) Wanner, Mountain; one sister,
Romayne (David) Brundage, Traverse City, Michigan; 11 grandchildren and
many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David, in 1992; two sons,
Rick in 1963, and David in 1973; one grandson, Philip in 2004, and her
6 siblings.
Phyllis E. Hatfield, 90, Mountain, passed away on Saturday, January 12,
2013. Visitation will be held at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring on
Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 2
p.m.
