Jason Gossen, 24, of Oconto Falls and formerly of Pulaski, died peacefully Tuesday, March 12, 2013, following a brief illness. The son of Russell R. and Jean A. (Ferris) Gossen was born June 16, 1988 and was a graduate of Pulaski High School.

Despite all of the challenges he faced in life, Jason was a happy and easy-going person with a really big smile. He loved the company of his pets - two dogs and two cats - Bear and Buddy, Princess and Trouble. He enjoyed music, especially the songs of the 1980's.

In addition to his mom and dad, Russ and Jean Gossen of Pulaski, Jason is survived by his aunts and uncles; Ron Gossen, DePere, Richard (Trong) Gossen, Vacaville, CA, Rosemary Westenberger, Florence, SC, Robert (Jan) Gossen, Virginia Beach, VA, Ralph (Nancy) Gossen, DePere, Randy (Cathy) Gossen, Sturgeon Bay, Jeff (Chris) Ferris, Howard, Jim (Leah) Ferris, Shawano; his 'godparents', Roger and Deb Wertel, Abrams, many cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, two uncles, Joe Ferris and Bob Westenberger, and one aunt, Carol Gossen.

Friends may call at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, from 1:00 - 4:30 p.m. Sunday. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, Pastor Bob Wied officiating. Entombment will take place in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay.

Jason's family would like to thank the pediatric staff at St. Vincent Hospital, especially Terry, Pat, and Sharon, and everyone at King Street CBRF in Oconto Falls, where he made his home for the past two years

A Memorial Fund has been established.
