He was born in Poland, December 20,1877, and served in the Russian army for five years, before coming to the United States, when he was about 31. He lived in Pennsylvania for two years before coming to his present farm. His wife died in 1937.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Helen Widdes, Chicago and Mrs. Josephine Giffin, Qunicy, Illinois; three sons, John, Milwaukee, Walter, of Krakow, and Leonard at home; 13 grandchildren and one brother Stanley, Krakow.
Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m.
at St Casmir Church, Krakow, with Rev. Bartholomew Biernat officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
