Joseph Karbara, 82 dies of stroke
of Pulaski

Joseph Karbara of Pulaski, age 82, died of a stroke. He was born in Poland March 19,1868 and came to the US when he was 20 yrs old. He lived in Connecticut for 10 yrs before moving to a farm near Sobieski. In 1889 he married Caroline Prush. After 27 years they moved to a farm near Pulaski. He retired 10 years ago and his sons took over the family farm.

He was preceded in death by his wife and one daughter. Survived by two daughters; Mrs Joseph [Ann] Wisniewski and Sister M. Alexiana , both of Chicago; five sons; John of Chicago; Antone and Roman of Pulaski; Andrew and Edward on the home farm; 15 grandchildren; 6 greatgrandchildren.

The body is at Marnocha Funeral home where the rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm Tuesday and Wednesday. Burial will be in the Church cemetery.
