Ted Jurgilanis, 89, Oconto Falls, died suddenly Sunday, December 30, 2012 at

home. He was born October 8, 1923 in Krakow to Casimir and Stella
(Rolczynski) Jurgilanis. Ted grew up in Krakow and as a young man, served in
the US Navy Air Corps during WWII.

On June 12, 1948 he married (LaRayne) "Raye" Ward in Waukegan, IL. Following
their marriage the couple lived in Oconto Falls for most of their married
lives where Ted was employed by the Scott Paper Co. for 32 years until
retiring in 1985. The couple also enjoyed traveling all over the country in
their motor home. He also drove school bus in the Oconto Falls School
District for 20 years and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where he
enjoyed singing in the choir. At onetime, Ted was and avid bowler and like
to golf. He belonged to the Oconto Falls American Legion Post.

Survivors are two sons, Douglas (Ann Schultz) Jurgilanis, West Bend; Kevin
(Denise) Jurgilanis, Cedar Grove; one daughter, Tami Havens, Green Bay; ten
grandchildren; two brothers, Ervin (Shirley) Jurgilanis, West Bend; Tom
(Pat) Jurgilanis, New Berlin; two sisters, Hilda Kjell, AZ; Lorraine
(Robert) Lahmann, Milwaukee; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Raye in 2001, one daughter
Candace Jurgilanis in 2009, one son-in-law, Don Havens and one sister, Alice
Van Hoof.

Memorial visitation will take place after 11am Saturday, January 5, 2013 at
Grace Lutheran Church in Oconto Falls until the time of service. Memorial
services will take place 1pm Saturday at the church with Pastor Larry Bong
officiating. Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls is serving the Jurgilanis
family.
