Jane A. Weigelt 79, Oconto, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family after a short battle with lung cancer. She was born August 7, 1933 in Stiles to the late Charles and Edith (McDonald) Wenzel. On June 30, 1951 Jane married Ray Weigelt at Zion Lutheran Church, Oconto.

She worked at Elliot Glove in Oconto for 16 years and later owned and operated the Ladies Choice clothing store in Oconto with her daughter Sandy. Jane enjoyed ceramics, gardening, her pet cat Critter and her favorite thing to do in life was cooking and cleaning. She enjoyed trips to tropical places with her daughters and friends, shopping and rummage sales. Jane was a beautiful loving and caring lady who always worried about others before herself.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years Ray; two daughters Sandy Cain, Oconto; Nancy (Clyde) Rasmussen, Green Bay; one grandson Travis (Suzie) Cain and their children Brianna and Harrison, Oconto; three step-grandchildren Danielle (Mike) Conlon and their children Jaidan and Brekston, Brookside; Nicole (Ken) LeMere and their children Jacob, Grace and Elijah, Brookside; and Jason (Shannon) Rasmussen, Green Bay. She is further survived by two sisters Rosie LeMay, Oconto; Shirley (Gary) Bohlmann, Sussex; three brothers Marvin (Mary) Wenzel, Oconto; Allen Wenzel, Oconto; Melvin (Gale) Wenzel, Oconto; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one son-in-law Jim Cain; four sisters Amanda Rouse, Betty Rudolph, Lorraine Wenzel and Norma Wenzel; and one brother Carl Wenzel.
