Marilyn Esther McDonald, 77, Oconto, passed away
unexpectedly on Sunday,
Jan. 15, 2012, at the Oconto Hospital Medical Center. She was born Jan.
17,
1934, in Oconto, to Leo Adams and Eleanor Quast.
Marilyn resided in Oconto all of her life and attended local schools.
She
married Willis W. McDonald on Aug. 20, 1955. In earlier years she was
an
active member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and trained altar servers
for
the church. In her later years she enjoyed spending time with her
family,
especially her grandchildren. Marilyn was a devoted Green Bay Packer
fan,
enjoyed wildlife and loved her dog, "Copper".
Surviving are her husband, Willis; four sons, Willis, Jr. (Laurie),
John,
Michael and David, all of Oconto; one daughter, Laura (Larry) Wilhelm,
West
Plains, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and brothers and
sisters, Cindi Bonneville, Debbie Lewis, Delores Holm, Georgiana Tappa,
Jeff
Adams, Julie Adams, Leone Scheidwend, Lisa Bobnock, Linda Zirbel, Leo
Adams,
Mary Qwidt, Nancy Adams, Rick Adams, Ron Adams and Westin Quast.
She was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Kayleigh McDonald;
her
Grandpa and Grandma LaFave; her parents, Leo Adams and Eleanor Quast;
sisters, Judy Zeiske and Ella May Rath; and a brother, Arnold Quast.
Friends may call at First Presbyterian Church, 133 Jackson St., Oconto,
from
9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21 2012. Funeral services will
be
held at 11 a.m. in the church with Pastor Bobbie Skelly officiating.
Burial
will be in the Brookside Cemetery.
