  Murella E. Trepanier, (nee: Colson) passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2003 at St. Mary's Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Murella was born in Oconto September 17, 1921, daughter of the late Wallace and Irene (nee: Exferd) Colson.  On April 30, 1938 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Oconto, she was united in marriage to Ronald J. Trepanier who preceded her in death, May 6, 1999.  Murella as employed by Goldblatts, Three Sisters Women's Clothing and was a volunteer for St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary.  She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and prior member of Holy trinity catholic Church. 

Murella's greates pleasure was cherishing the time spend with her grandchildren and attending their activities.  She was dearly loved and will be sadly missed. Survivors include her five children, Ronald (Chris) Trepanier of Richmond, VA, JoAnn Edwards of Racine, Dee (Terry) Kovara of Racine, Nancy (Dan) Kozlik of Charlotte, NC, Janet (Jim) Saunders of Pacifica, CA; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Miller of Green Bay, WI; a brother Fritz (Dorothy) Bostedt of Green Bay; nieces, nephews, other relatives; dear friends, Florence Szcupanski and Mildred Rhode. 

In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, David Edwards; and her brothers, Peter Colson, Roland Colson, and Howard Bostedt Jr. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 5300 Spring Street, Racine, Friday April 25, 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Paul M. Esser officiating.  Entombment at West Lawn Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends met with the family at the funeral home on Thursday.  Memorials to the American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer's Association, for for masses to be said have been suggested .
