 Mary Jane Erdman, 85, Townsend, Wis., passed away Jan. 11, 2012.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at St. John Lutheran Church, Townsend, from 9 to 11 a.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 11. Weber-Hill Funeral Home, Wabeno, assisting the family.

TOWNSEND 

Mary Jane Erdman, age 85, of Townsend passed away Jan. 11, 2012, in Antigo. 

Mary Jane was born on April 10, 1926, in Madison to William and Jennie (Woodland) Gassman. She was active in church all of her life by teaching Sunday school and playing hand bells. She was a member of the Alter Guild, and the Lutheran Women’s Missionary Society. She enjoyed playing bridge, and was a member of the Homemakers, and the American Legion. 

She will be missed by her daughter, Laura Tilbury; her four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two sons.

Visitation was held Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a funeral service following, at St. John Lutheran Church, Townsend.  

Weber–Hill Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
