The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon with the Rev. Mr. Lindbacher officiating, in the Reformed church at 2 o'clock.

The funeral of Mrs. Jane Phillips, esteemed resident of Porterfield, who died a few days ago, was held Thursday afternoon from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Phillips in Porterfield to the Reformed church there. The Rev. Mr. Lindbacker officiated at both the house and church services, many neighbors and friends being present at each service.
At the church the choir, composed of Mrs. Arthur Peters, Mrs. Anna Fuhrman, Mrs. Albert Behrens and Mrs. Rudolph Sundre, the Rev. Mr. Lindbacker and Herman Behrens, sang "Refuge" and "Closer to Thee" and "Rock of Ages". The discourse was based on the Twenty-third Psalm.
A long cortege proceded to the cemetery at the close of the services. There were many floral tributes, the flowers being in charge of the Misses Stella Nash, Myrtle Nicklaus, Adaline and Irona Voelker, Florence Kingston and Leona Grasse. The casket was borne to and from the funeral car by Frank Voelker, Herman Behrens, F.P. Rompf, Ernest Christeck, L.W. Evert and Clayton Gove. L.D. Martin, Marinette directed the funeral.
Besides a son and two daughters, Mrs. Phillips leaves a brother and three sisters, sixteen grandchildren and even great grand children.
Mrs. Robert Nelson of Milwaukee and Mrs. Fred Kieff of Fond du Lac
were present at the obsequies.
