Patricia "Patsy" B. Steffens, 76, Oconto Falls, died Sunday morning, February 10, 2013 at Community Memorial Hospital. She was born December 30, 1936 in Lena to Wilbur and Josephine (Potts) Bitters. Patsy moved to Oconto Falls with her family when she was 16 years old.

On December 17, 1955 she married Maynard G. Steffens at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Oconto Falls. Patsy lived all of her life in the Oconto Falls area where she was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She once worked with her older sister Betty Young with the family catering business. Patsy also worked at CMH in environmental services for 16 years.

Survivors are four children, Cindy (Roger) Kuehn, Appleton; Carla (Dave Gable) Steffens, George Steffens, Cathy (Russell) Strom, all of Oconto Falls; six grandchildren, Ryan, Rachel and Mark Kuehn; Brittany, Samantha and Daniel Strom; three great grandchildren, Mika, Brailyn and Brody; one brother, Jack Bitters, Oconto Falls; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gary (Judy) Steffens, Noni (Bob) Picazo, Judy (Marvin) Senn, Sue Ann (Richard) Van Ark, Betty and Joyce Bitters, all of Oconto Falls; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Maynard on December 14, 2005, daughter Carmen Steffens on November 19, 1982, three brothers, Bill, Bob and Jimmy Bitters, three sisters, Betty (Donald) Young, Merle (Jim) Krause and Charlotte (Jerry) Rice, her in-laws, Matthew and DeLoris Steffens, nephew Tom Bitters and niece Tress Van Ark.

Visitation will be held after 11am Thursday, February 14, 2013 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Oconto Falls until the time of service. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1pm Thursday at the church with the Rev. Fr. Joel Sember officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
