Roland Lawrence Zoeller, 92, of Oconto, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Country House, Oconto.

Roland was born June 2, 1920 in Stiles to the late Oliver and Frances (Schultz) Zoeller. He married Berdine Krueger on September 26, 1942. She preceded him in death on November 4, 2000. Roland drove truck for Jackie Foster Inc. for many years. He enjoyed playing cards, gambling, hunting and fishing. Roland was a loving father.

Roland is survived by three daughters Sandra Samsa; Susan (Alan) Caelwaerts; Cynthia (Michael) Pecor, all of Oconto; one foster daughter Tina (Tom) Kitchenmaster , Crivitz; two brothers Marvin (Shirley) Zoeller, Oconto; Vernon (Carol) Zoeller, Oak Orchard; a sister-in-law Leona Zoeller, Green Bay; two brothers-in-law Gerald Townsend, IL; Wilbert Longsine, Oconto; ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by five sisters, Helen Bloom, Arlene Longsine, Elizabeth Townsend, Jackie Corbit, Claudine Zima, and three brothers Reuben, Sylvester and Bernie Zoeller.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, May 29 from 10 to 11 AM. Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mary Zupansic officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at
