Mrs. Baccus, nee Rosa Prausa, was born in Kewaunee county June 15, 1890 (sic - should be 1889). She married Henry Baccus Oct. 8, 1911 in Chicago, and they came to Oconto county 45 years ago. They had made their home in Suring for the past 41 years. She was a member of St. Michael church and its Altar and Christian Mothers society, and was a past president of the Suring American Legion auxiliary.
