Virginia Elaine Strehlow, 84, Suring, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 25,
2012. She was born in Sheboygan, on April 28, 1927, to the late Edmund and
Linda (Kitzman) Elbe. Virginia Elbe married Llewyllen Strehlow on July 12,
1947, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Gillett. Lew preceded her in death on
Sept. 6, 2008. Virginia enjoyed traveling and loved the mountains. She also
loved chocolate covered cherries and going to church. She drove school bus
for the Suring School District for many years.

Virginia is survived by her three children, Gloria (Alfred) Pyatskowit,
Shawano; Steven, Suring; Carol, Grafton; her daughter-in-law, Shelby,
Florida; 10 grandchildren, Joel, Jonathan, Jeremy, Joshua Pyatskowit, Sara,
Paul, Seth Strehlow, Brittney, Brandon, Lacey Strehlow; nine
great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister, Audrey
Gallagher; her brother, Wallace (Charlotte) Elbe; three brothers-in-law,
Gaylord "Bub", Marvin "Pete" (Clara), Curtis (Audrey) Strehlow; three
sisters-in-law, Betty "Poots" (Norman) Saffran, Fern (John) Cramer, Fay
(Tom) Stache; her brother-in-law, Tom Dhein. Virginia is further survived by
many nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund and Linda Elbe; her
husband, Lew; her son, Randall; her sister, Barbara Frazer; her
sister-in-law, Helen Elbe; her brother-in-law, Chum Yakel. She was also
preceded in death by Roland "Park" and Helen Strehlow, Beulah Lazansky, Kay
Dhein and Melanie Strehlow.

According to her wishes, no formal services are planned. There will be a
private graveside service in Spring at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
