  Lawrence "Hector" J. Waschbisch, 73, Oconto Falls, died suddenly of natural causes on Tuesday evening, Feb. 28, 2012, at home. He was born Jan. 1, 1939, in Oconto Falls, to Joseph and Delia (Ziehm) Waschbisch. He grew up in Oconto Falls and as a young man, served in the U.S. Navy. Hector lived in Oconto Falls for all of his life where he was employed by the Scott Paper Co. for many years.

      Survivors are his wife, Donna Waschbish, Oconto Falls; two children, Kim (John) Skarban, Mike Waschbisch, all of Lena; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Morrissey, Lena; Rose Ann Martin, Milwaukee; nieces and nephews.

      He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, William "Billy" and Francis "Butch" Waschbisch.

      Visitation with the urn present will be held after 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls (920-848-2222 or visit: until the time of service. Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Kathy Schroeder leading a prayer service. Burial will take place in St. Anthony Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
