.   William J. GIESE, 78,of Gillett, died Friday, December 5, at Oconto Falls. He was the third member of the Golden Age Club of Gillett to die this week.
              
Mr. GIESE was born Feb. 19, 1891 in the Town of Gillett. He lived in Milwaukee for 57 years, returning to Gillett in 1967 since which time he has made his home there with relatives. He was married to Mrs. Louise WENDLING Jan. 24, 1914. She died in 1960. Mr. GIESE had worked for A.O. Smith Company in Milwaukee for 38 years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Town of Gillett and the Gillett Golden Age Club.
              
Survivors are one son, Howard GIESE of Milwaukee and four grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. Also four sisters, Mrs. Bertha HELMKE of Gillett; Mrs. Emma UECKER of Brookfield; Mrs. Minnie JAEGER of Cecil and Mrs. Lawrence SCHUETPELTZ of Gillett. Also surviving are two brothers, Herman and Alfred GIESE, both of Gillett.
               
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Town of Gillett. The Rev. J. R. WESTPHAL will be officiate and interment will be in Valhalla Cemetery, Milwaukee. Friends may call at the Kuehl Funeral Home, Gillett, after 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon until 11 o'clock Monday morning and then from noon until the time of the service at the church.
