My grandmother, Mildred (Kershek) Prausa, attended the school, graduating in May of 1920. I found two old, damaged photos, plus a typewritten copy of what might be a souvenir program from 1910.
X= Mildred Kershek. She wrote on the back of the photo: "May 1920, Mildred, My School house."

This souvenir program could possibly be for the Messenger Creek School. I don't know how my grandmother got this, but I have noticed that a few of the X's are next to her brothers and her future sister-in-law, Agnes Blazek. Agnes married Antone (Tony) Kershek. The spelling of Kershek is a variation. The dates next to the names are birth years of the people. Her brothers: Antone Kershek (1897), Emil Kershek (1902), Joseph Kershek (1900). My grandmother was born in 1905, therefore was not enrolled in school at that time.

May 1920 - Arbor Day Cast of Play
My grandmother wrote on the back of the photo - "My 8th grade picture & others in a Play we presented." I believe this was taken the same day as the photo labelled May 1920. The "X" on the dress shows my grandmother. The other two X's are above her older brothers, Antone (Tony) and Joe. Since the others in the photo are older, they must have been in the play...not attending school.

May 1920 - Arbor Day Cast of Play
Mildred wrote on the back: "Margaret Aldrich, Mildred Kershek, Elsie Koutsky, Joe Kershek, Agnes Barber, Tony Kershek, Oliver Brazeau. In car: Tony Foral - hat, Sam Brazeau."

May 1920 - Sitting beside Messenger Creek School
My grandmother did write names on the back: "X = Mildred Kershek"
Mildred wrote on the back of this photo: "Arbor Day 1920 (which would be May)
Margaret Klover, Gertrude Hooper, Frances Brazeau, Mildred Brazeau, Helen Mutz, X = Mildred Kershek, Iretta Hooper and Florence Monigal. "
