William ( 1856-1901) and Amelia
(1855-1921) emigrated from Germany 1886. Settled
first in Pensaukee and then had a farm in
Brookside/Abrams. They had five children, one of them,
Albert, is my husbands grandfather.
Albert had a farm next to William and Amelia's farm. William
& Amelia's farm is still standing. One of their other sons,
Herman Falk, farmed it after the parents were gone.
I would like to know where William and Amelia are
buried, what they died from, where in Germany they came from,
what ship they came over on etc. Also I would like
to know when Albert Falk acquired his farm in Abrams.
It seems like it was previously owned by a shoe manufacturer
named Wellington.
I am Swedish, and I have been able to trace both
my Moms and Dads ancestry all the way back to 1530 in Sweden with not
too much trouble This American/German side has been a lot
harder for me.
I would appreciate anything you can dig up.
Thanks!!!
Agneta
