Schultz and Mr. W. Vernon
Smart.
Nuptial
Ceremony Performed at High noon Last Saturday.
Miss Isabel Ruth Schultz, one of Oconto’s fair young daughters and Mr. W. Vernon Smart of Berkeley, California, were married at high noon last Saturday at St. John’s Episcopal church, Ross, California. Rev. Fr. Carrol, an intimate friend of the groom, officiating, Mr. and Mrs. Mathias Mickleson, also, old acquaintances of the groom, acting as witnesses. The bride was prettily attired in a handsome suit of blue silk and wore a picture hat.
The bride, who left here last week Monday evening on her western trip, was accompanied as far as Chicago by her mother, and Friday evening was joined by the groom-to-be at Oakland, Cal., and from there accompanied her to Berkley, Cal., where they will make their future home. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Schultz, who reside on Jefferson street, and is well and favorably known, having won a host of friends by her bright and sunny disposition and is a favorite among her associates.
The groom is a resident of California and is an energetic young business man, who has a brilliant future before him. He made numerous friends during his visits here the past year and has the respect and high esteem of all who made his acquaintance
The happy young couple have gone to housekeeping in a pretty little home which the groom had prepared for his bride and their many friends wish them a long and happy journey through life.
They were the recipients of a large number of handsome and costly presents consisting of cut glass, silver, china, linen, etc.

Hans Slang and Mary Roit were married last Wednesday and the charavari was well attended.
