Word has been
received announcing the marriage of Miss
Christina Hronek, of Gibson, and Edward F. Witeck, well-known young man
of this city, Tuesday at Manitowoc. The bride is a daughter
of Mr.
and Mrs. Mathew Hronek of Gibson and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs.
Peter Witeck of this city.
The following marriage
licenses to wed were issued at the office of the county clerk this
week;
Louis Gauthier of Spruce
and Ruby Morrisey of Spruce;
Joseph F. Montivideo,
Abrams, and Viola Stachnik of Milwaukee.
A pretty wedding
was solemnized at six when Miss Helen
Merline, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Merline, became the bride of Mr.
Leo Adams of Mankato, Minn.

Milwaukee;
Fred Longsine and Sarah
Haines, both of this city.
Miss Marie Rusch,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rusch,
was married in Moulin, Ill., on Sept 9, 1922 to Mr. Leslie E. Shalberg,
according to announcements made this week.
Oconto Falls—Miss Helen Muenster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Muenster, and Arnold Giese, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Giese of Waupun were united in marriage at the German Lutheran church at Oconto Falls Tuesday afternoon at two.
Miss Ida Zeismer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Zeismer, Pensaukee, and Mr. Fred R. Topel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Topel, also of Pensaukee, were quietly married at the Lutheran parsonage here Wednesday afternoon.
Lena-The bands of matrimony have been published for the first time last Sunday for Agatha Netzer and Peter Mathey.
Miss Rose Reed and
Gustav Topel, popular young people
of this city, were quietly married in Menominee, Mich.
The marriage of Mrs. Freida Fingel Hubbel, formerly Miss Freida Fingel of this city to Mr. George F. Gardner of Medora, N.D., was held on May 8 according to announcements received in this city. The ceremony took place at Glendive, Montana.
County Line—A shower was given by several young ladies of the town of Grover on Miss Esther Teske, who became the bride of Emil Ihde on Thursday of last week.
A license has been
issued by County Clerk Lenore Orr
to Gottleib Tisch of Oconto Falls and Emma Freilog of Gillett.
Announcements of the marriage of Miss Daly Theola of Hurley, Wis., to Mr. Donald Carr, well known in Oconto, in Seattle, Washington, on Monday June 11.
