Neighboring Counties Brown (to the east)  Calumet (to the southeast)  Winnebago (to the southwest)  Waupaca (to the west)  Shawano (to the north)  The Oneida Indian Reservation overlaps northeastern Outagamie Co. and northwestern Brown Co.

The majority of the information provided on this site was compiled by the previous county coordinator, Jan Marasch.  She did a fantastic job and she is the reason the Outagamie site is so informative and helpful.  Thank you, Jan, for all of your hard work.

The WIGenWeb Project In March and April, 1996, a group of genealogists organized the Kentucky Comprehensive Genealogy Database. The idea was to provide a single entry point for all counties in Kentucky, where collected databases would be stored. In addition, the databases would be indexed and cross-linked, so that even if an individual were found in more than one county, they could be located in the index. This lead to the USGenWeb of which Wisconsin is a part. Volunteers are needed who are willing to coordinate the collection of databases and generally oversee the contents of the web page.
