Zellmer-Dietsch Wedding Is Pretty Church Affair
A pretty church wedding took place last
Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock when Miss Daisy Zellmer became the bride of Walter
Dietsch at the Evangelical Friedens church, the Rev. F. Lefkovics officiating at
the ceremony.
More than 200 guests were present at the church during the ceremony. After the ceremony
was over,the wedding party went to Milwaukee where a reception was held at the home
of the bride's mother at 711 Thirtieth street.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Anna Schirmer. The groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Otto Dietsch who live in Germany. The groom also lived in Germany until three
years ago when he came immediately to Port Washington from across the sea.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. . . satin escalloped at the bottom and heavily
beaded. She carried a bridal bouquet of pink and yellow roses and lilies of the valley.
The maid of honor, Miss Viola Zellmer, another sister of the bride, acting as bridesmaid,
wore a pale pink georgette dress. Both girls carried bouquets of pink roses and sweet
peas.
Groomsmen were Edward Zellmer, brother of the bride, and Herbert Roephel. The groom
and his groomsmen wore tuxedos.
The young couple will make their home at 127 Park street, Port Washington.
