PGS's "New" NEWSLETTER - 2012

E-mailed to members quarterly!

updated 2 Feb 2012

**This year, 2012, the PGS will attempt to provide a new kind of PGS newsletter, named: “OPEN DOOR-Family History Newsletter” which will cover a wide range of family history news, information and helps and just plain fun stuff to assist folks researching in and for Door County, WI , surrounding area, and further afield. “OPEN DOOR” will be opening many doors to family history researchers and will correspond to our ever-growing PGS Website, the HOMEPAGE of which can be found at:

The PGS “Open Door” Family History Newsletter will be produced in a PDF format viewable by Adobe Reader (free to download) and e-mailed to our members quarterly.**  They will be: WINTER, SPRING, SUMMER and FALL editions.  The first PGS OPEN DOOR "Winter" Newsletter was e-mailed to our members on 31 Jan 2012.  They will not be available on the website during the year being produced.  After that time they may be added to the PGS Website at the discretion of the PGS Editor.

The Peninsula Genealogical Society (PGS) first began producing a newsletter quarterly each year in 1989. Newsletter editor, Sally TREICHEL worked tirelessly to research, write, print, photocopy and mail these “chock-full-of-goodies” newsletters to our PGS members for over 20 years. She resigned as newsletter editor at the end of 2010, and no newsletters were produced in 2011.

The first two years of those newsletters have been reproduced and indexed on the PGS Website and are easily accessed under: PGS Newsletter Archives on the HOMEPAGE.

OPEN DOOR FH Newsletter will not need indexing as it is a PDF File.
