- According to the 1873 atlas and 1917 atlas for Rock County,
there were ten rural schools in Fulton
- Township. I do not know where Indian Ford School (I) and Indian Ford School (II) schools
were located. Merrifield
school was in Milton Township. Fulton school
may have been near the villages of Fulton or Fulton Center, or
#9 (in Section 35) which was owned by John FULTON in 1917.
- The location and current status of these school buildings
is given below (using the modern road names).
- The numbers given to each school are mine and not district
numbers.
