Rural Schools

Fulton Township, Rock County, Wisconsin

According to the 1873 atlas and 1917 atlas for Rock County, there were ten rural schools in Fulton
Township. I do not know where Indian Ford School (I) and Indian Ford School (II) schools were located. Merrifield school was in Milton Township. Fulton school may have been near the villages of Fulton or Fulton Center, or #9 (in Section 35) which was owned by John FULTON in 1917.
The location and current status of these school buildings is given below (using the modern road names).
The numbers given to each school are mine and not district numbers.
