Utters Corners School

(Joint District with Lima Township in Rock County and Richmond and Whitewater Townships in Walworth County)

Johnstown Township, Rock County, Wisconsin

Utters Corners School was located in Section 1 of Johnstown Township in Utters Corners on
(Rock-Walworth) County Line Road.
The now-extinct village of Utters Corners lies at the intersection of (Rock-Walworth) County Line Road
and Townline Road (known as J-L Townline Road west of the village because it separates Johnstown and Lima Townships and R-W Townline Road east of the village because it separates Richmond and Whitewater Townships). This means that Utters Corners is "officially" in two countie (and four townships), hence the four-township joint district of its school.
At one time, district officers included F. W. TEETSHORN, Ed. REINKE and W. T. BRERETON.
