Cooksville School

Village of Cooksville, Porter Township, Rock County, Wisconsin

Cooksville School was located in Section 6 of Porter Township, on the northeast corner of the
intersection of Wisconsin Street (Hwy. 59) and Rock Street in Cooksville (old Waucoma). It opened before 1873 and closed after the 1957-1958 school year.
During the winter term of 1870-1871, 65 students were enrolled in the school.
