Forest Academy School

Porter Township, Rock County, Wisconsin

Forest Academy was located in Porter Township. An 1873 map shows the school as being located in

Section 29 on Wilder Road, just south of Gibbs Lake Road. A 1917 map shows the school as being located in Section 31 on the northwest corner of the intersection of Tolles Road and Hwy. 14 (this location is now a private residence).

The school opened before 1873 and closed sometime after the 1936-1937 school year. It was closed

during the 1937-1938 school year (the two students enrolled in the school attended neighboring schools).
