Biography extracted from History of Sauk County, Wisconsin Chicago: Western Excelsior: A. D. C. Lamoreaux, Stock-dealer and farmer, Sec. 23; P.O. Ableman; son of Andrew and Electa (Colton) Lamoreaux; born Sept. 19, 1849, at Chester, Lake Co., Ohio; when 4 years of age, went with his parents to Freeport, Ill.; after a residence of one year in that city, the family moved to Cherry Valley, Ill., making only a short stay in this place; they moved to Baraboo, Wis., in 1855. Was married, May 1, 1873, at Baraboo, to Elizabeth Hirschinger, daughter of Michael and Melinda Hirschinger; they have four children- Edith, Arthur A., Cora and Howard.
