Henry H. Cowan, conductor on the C. & N. W. R. R.; born in Rensselaer Co., N.Y., Aug. 31, 1836; came to Baraboo in 1873; he has been railroading for the last twenty-three years. He was married, Jan. 8, 1860 to Miss Mary E. Anderson; she was born in Chicago, Ill.; they have two children - Charles H. and Edith. In politics, Mr. Cowan is a Republican.
