H. P. Jones, of the firm Jones & Griggs, dealers in ready-made clothing and gents furnishing goods, on Third street, west of the post office; he was born in Walworth Co. Wis., April 19, 1849; came to Baraboo in 1873, and established his present business. He was married, Sept. 2, 1874 to Miss Mary E. Sharp; she was born in Manitowoc Co., Wis.; they have two children - Stacy S. and Margie C. In politics, Mr. Jones is a Republican.
