J. L. Dryer, farmer, Sec. 33; has 200 acres; was born in Madison Co., N.Y., March 3, 1830 came to Sauk Co. in August, 1865, and located on his present farm at that time. He married Oct. 23, 1856, to Miss Adaline Richardson; she was born in Tioga Co., N.Y.; they have seven children – Helen J., Eta J., Bertha J., John W., Grant, Eva and George. In politics, Mr. Dryer is a Republican.
