Shawano County Genealogy

We are a local group of genealogy researchers. We reside here in Shawano County and have put together a local website to better help other researchers. We are working hard to transcribe all the Vital Records we can. We have finished indexing the huge volumes of Obituaries stored here in Shawano, which now has reached over 85,000.

We have finished walking and photographing 128 Cemeteries in Shawano County.  This aided us to ad to our first initial posting of Cemeteries, but some stones sadly are no more. This effort was made to give you a visual of your ancestors last resting place. We hope to finish Woodlawn this summer and we plan on adding 5 cemeteries from the Menominee Reservation.

This site is dedicated to Marjorie Stoehr the founder of the First Family History Center
