Mrs. Anna Buchholz Funeral Rites Held Monday Afternoon

Mrs. Anna Buchholz, age 86 of Town Lyndon, passed away at the Rocky Knoll Hospital and Sanitarium at 4:30 p.m. Fri., Dec. 29 after a year and a half Illness.  She was born on June 17, 1875 in the town of Plymouth the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Wetzel.  She attended the district school.  She was married on June 14, 1899 in Plymouth to William Buchholz.  They lived in the town of Mitchell for 3 years before moving to the town of Lyndon where they farmed since 1902.  Her husband preceded her in death on July 19, 1936.  She was a member of the Zion Lutheran church of Glenbeulah.

She is survived by four sons and six daughters: Albert Buchholz of Plymouth, Mrs. Ed (Alma) Schultz of Sheboygan Falls, Mrs. Ray (Louise) Phippen of Sheboygan Falls, Robert Buchholz of Rushville, Ill., Mrs. Vern (Hilda) Ridout of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Howard (Marie) Goff of Rock Island, Ill., Francis Buchholz of town of Lyndon, Mrs. Tim (Ruth) Sippel of Plymouth, Raymond Buchholz of McComb, Ill., Alice Buchholz at home in town Lyndon; 21 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 1 sister, Mrs. Hugo Weber of Plymouth, one brother Otto Wetzel, of Detroit, Mich.

Her parents, her husband, one daughter Helen, and ten brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Wittkopp Funeral Home is Plymouth.  Burial was in the Winooski cemetery in town Lyndon.
