Mrs. Mary Buchholz passed away early Saturday morning at the home of her son, August Buchholz on the homestead.

Mrs. Buchholz, nee Harling, was born 68 years ago in Germany and came directly to Sheboygan County, when she was 13 years of age.  About 50 years ago she was married to Joseph Buchholz, who died 7 years ago.  Six children, 19 grandchildren, two brothers and one sister survive.  The children are Mrs. Theodore Johanning, neat the Mulleton Church, Mrs. Henry Miller, Greenbush; William, Henry, Richard and August Buchholz, all of the town of Lyndon.  The brothers are Henry Harling of Waldo and Fred Harling living in Iowa.  The sister is Mrs. Sophia Selk of Spring Farm.

Mrs. Buchholz was one of the old and respected settlers of the county and she had reason to feel proud of her sons and daughters.

The funeral was held Sunday afternoon, Rev. Schmidt of the Lutheran Church conducting the services and the remains were laid to rest in the Union Cemetery, Plymouth.
