Death of a Young Lady

Mrs. J.F. Powers were called to Lancaster, Wis., on Monday of last week by the serious death of her sister, Miss Bernice Burris.  Mrs. Powers received word that she passed away Friday morning.  Miss Bernice was about 21 years of age and a fine young lady.  She came here with Prof. Powers and family two years ago next August and remained 2 months.  During that time she made many friends among the young people who will regret to learn of her death.  That is the first death of Mrs. Power’s brothers and sisters and there were nine in the family and the death is a very sad one.  Mrs. Power’s friends sympathize with her in this hour of morning.
